Your coverage lasts for up to 365 days in a row per journey. If you complete 365 days in Colombia, you must exit and re-enter the country to keep your coverage active and receive assistance if needed.
The payment is a one-time fee for full coverage. If you want coverage for a year, you need to pay for the entire year upfront.
Assist Card pays healthcare providers directly, so contacting us before seeking medical care is important to ensure we cover the charges.
You can find Assist Card hotlines in the voucher you received at the time of purchase, or you can manage your active products through our mobile app.
Upon activation of the policy, Assist Card assumes the risk of accidental death and repatriation. This means that the benefits of each plan cannot be modified. However, travelers have the option to purchase add-ons, such as additional coverage for pre-existing medical conditions.
No, Assist Card can only offer a maximum of 365 days of coverage. If you want to renew the policy, you must return to your home country before starting a new year.

To obtain a Student plan, you must provide a current student certificate and be between 12 and 45 years old.
Please take note of the following age limits for Assist Card Plans:
- AC 35 and AC 60 have no age limit
- AC 150 has an age limit of 80 years old
- AC 250 has an age limit of 75 years old
- The Student plan is only available for individuals aged between 12 and 45.
- Please be aware that the price of the plans may vary based on the person's age.
Please keep in mind the following information: Any requests for cancellation or refunds must be handled through the mobile app. Please note that each request will be reviewed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Also, if you have purchased a plan for visa purposes, please be aware that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be notified. Cancelling your policy will affect the validity of your visa, as the policy must remain active for the duration of your visa.
You have the option to obtain coverage for a duration ranging from 5 days to one year.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs requires you to demonstrate that you have an active policy for the expected duration of your stay in the country.
You can request reimbursement through the mobile application, not the sales chat. If your refund is approved, approximately 6% may be deducted for administrative expenses.
Coverage begins on the date indicated by the client. However, if the customer has been at the destination for more than 24 hours, a 72-hour waiting period will be applied.
